Remode Textiles

Our focus for Remode Textiles includes hosting monthly drop-in sessions specifically tailored for migrant and refugee communities in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Additionally, our core program will feature two monthly sessions: "Learn to Sew" for women, providing opportunities to learn various sewing skills using upcycled and recycled materials.

January 2019 - February 2020

A free space for women from local, migrant and ethnic minority communities to come together to develop new skills in textiles. A great opportunity to learn from others, make connections and meet new friends!

Upcycling fashion project for women from migrant, refugee and ethnic minority communities.

FashionABLE project has been created to platform diversity and inclusion, as well as integrity, where people from all walks of life have been and are encouraged to participate and celebrate all the different abilities and/or disabilities, shapes and sizes, cultures and ages.
